Get to Know Greg
It’s 7 a.m. in February and that means it’s time for Greg to begin his rounds for the day. A tall mug of coffee in hand and a gallon of water in the back, Greg heads out into the cold, early morning light. He arrives at the job site just in time to see his crew unloading tools from trucks. They check with Greg and rough out a schedule before climbing to the roof to get to work.
For Greg, construction is all in the family. One of his first memories is of his dad working on a large Colonial New England-style house. He spent his childhood helping hang doors, put in new windows, and install siding.
Growing up, though, his dream was to be a ski guide in the winter and a raft guide in the summer. But as he grew older, he was bit by the construction bug. First working as a carpenter on small projects, Greg's vision grew to owning his own construction company, so he established Tradeworks Construction. Greg's wife Kelly is a Realtor with Ink Realty Group.
He passes the love of construction on to his children. Greg's son Ryder, 3, and daughter Lyla, 6, accompany him sometimes to job sites. When he isn’t working, he’s often on the slopes or the river, enjoying his first love -- the great outdoors.
